Mission

The laboratory of Management Engineering brings together the minds and competences of professors, researchers and students around the managerial challenges characterizing today’s economic landscape. Research fields include supply chain and operations management, organization, strategic management and complexity, innovation. Particular focus has been given in recent years to issues related to sustainability and digitalization, that are approached considering the managerial implications rather than the purely technical feasibility. Activities include also the participation in research projects founded by the European Union and its agencies as well as activities in cooperation with companies and institutions.

Given the nature of research in Management Engineering, the laboratory consists of individual workstations providing access to the library resources of the University, as well as open spaces where researchers can discuss and collaborate.
