Industrial and Information Engineering PhD Programme
The IIE-PhD programme aims at providing highly specialised multidisciplinary training and research in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, information technology engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial management and production.
PhD Conference 2023 – 25th May
Each year the IIE programme organises the “PhD Conference”. This one-day event offers to PhD fellows the opportunity of presenting their research work and gather feedbacks on both the presentation style and the technical content of their work from other fellows and from the PhD Board. Also, it offers a unique opportunity to PhD fellows to meet people from the industry in order to discuss and explore future opportunities for collaborations.
The conference is structured in two stages:
- the Plenary Session, which aims at offering ideas and suggestions on how to successfully build a scientific research career within the industry, starting from a PhD;
- the scientific sessions, where PhD fellows present the research activities carried out in the previous 12 months to colleagues and tutors;
