PhD Counselling and Mentoring Panel
The Counselling and Mentoring Panel (CMP) is composed of four senior members of the Board, appointed by the Board upon proposal of the Coordinator.
- The CMP performs an independent and non-evaluative role, with the following responsibilities:
- to provide confidential listening and support to PhD candidates in cases of personal or relational difficulties;
- to offer mentoring on academic and professional career paths;
- to facilitate mediation in situations of conflict or discomfort involving the Supervisor or other members of the PhD Programme;
- to convey to the Board, in anonymous and aggregated form, any observations or proposals for improvement.
The CMP operates in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, impartiality, and independence. PhD candidates may freely contact any member of the Panel.
The CMP submits to the PhD Programme Board an annual concise report on the activities carried out, containing no personally identifiable information.
